Sites that will not open
When the target refuses, change pool before you change tools.
When the target is the one refusing, change pool before you change tools.
Telling the two apart
If the connection succeeds but the site answers 403, a blank page, or a CAPTCHA — your proxy is working and the target dislikes the IP. If the connection itself never completes, that is a different problem (see the connection errors page).
The escalation order
| Try | If still refused |
|---|---|
| Datacenter | Residential |
| Residential | Residential Elite |
| Residential Elite | Mobile 4G |
Do not start at the top. If a cheaper pool already gets through, moving up raises your bill without raising your success rate.
What will not help
Changing port, changing password, or adding concurrency. If the target dislikes the kind of IP, none of those change anything.
