Getting in without a password

Register your IP address and your tooling never has to hold a password.

When this is the better option

• The tool has nowhere to put a proxy password
• You would rather not have a password sitting in a config file
• Your server has a fixed IP

When it is the worse option

When your IP moves — home broadband, a laptop that changes networks. Every time the IP changes the connection stops until the list is updated.

How to register one

In the console, on your proxy account page. Changes take a short while to apply rather than being instant.
